You should set up an interlock device monitoring appointment once every eight weeks. Different states have different requirements, but in New Jersey, eight weeks is the standard. The good news is that you won’t have to keep track of the time yourself. Your device will remind you when it’s time to make an appointment. Generally, you won’t have to bring anything with you other than your car with the device. From start to finish, the entire process should take about fifteen minutes, and then you’ll be back on the road again.
Testing and Adjustment
During your interlock device monitoring appointment, we’ll start by testing and recalibrating the device. Think of this phase as a “tune-up” for the device.
